Simple Plan, 3OH!3 and Bowling for Soup Bring Y2K Nostalgia to Central Park

Some nights ask nothing of you but memory. Wednesday, August 19, from 6 to 10 PM, Central Park's SummerStage is handing over the evening to a lineup pulled straight from the burned CDs and early iPods of the 2000s: Simple Plan, 3OH!3 and Bowling for Soup.

This is not a subtle bill. It is pop-punk hooks, party-rap sing-alongs and self-aware power chords, stacked back to back under open sky. The kind of show where the crowd knows the bridge before the band gets there.
